This drier system would be a conventional pneumatic flash dryer. The hot gas carries the material pneumatically and drying is achieved through intimate mixing of hot gas with the wet material as they travel together in the drier columns.

IFD series dryer can be used quickly drying of any biomass having initial /input moisture content < 45 % & Size < 8mm like Sawdust ,Wood chips , Rice Husk, Press mud, herbs extract, spent , Fly ash etc .

As mentioned , the drier system would consist of mixture of rotary dryer/heater along with standard IFD Series dryer (Standard pneumatic flash dryer).

The rotary dryer will be employed to reduce or minimise the liquid moisture content of the material by bringing it into direct contact with a heated gas in Rotary cylindrical tube. In this system , the material is mixed with hot flue gas by rotating / lifted up by a series of internal paddle.


The ISD Series Dryer is our 6th Generation dryer. The concept was to design and develop a dryer with a compact footprint to handle material with extremely high moisture content (sludge/ slurry ) with a moisture of around 80 % to a dried product with moisture less than 10%.

The ISD series uses an innovative re-circulation & blending system followed by a multi stage drying process RFD System (rotary pre heater/dryer followed by flash dryers) .
